Every ISS student is given positive support and presented with real opportunities for self-expression that enables them to learn from meaningful experiences.
Our daily framework at ISS allows students to work in supportive small classroom environments. An emphasis on quality, explicit instruction, flexible learning experiences, and productive lessons, enable teachers to work closely with students to improve academic, social, and personal skills.
Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 students make the transition from middle school to high school through a Middle School Program, which provides students with the environment of a home group while exposing them to specialist resources such as language studies, Physical Education, The Arts and Technology.
Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 are also provided with the environment of learning groups as they work within the areas of English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Language Studies, Physical Education, The Arts, and Technology.
